Following up an earlier post:

The situation in Ukraine continues to worsen.

Russia approved the use of military force in Ukraine on Saturday, despite warnings of consequences from the West. Ukraine has responded that any invasion into its territory would be illegitimate, while the acting prime minister has said a Russian invasion would mean war and an end to his country's relationship with Russia. Meanwhile, a senior administration official says President Barack Obama's national security team has met to discuss policy options.

Read that last sentence again: "...President Barack Obama's national security team has met to discuss policy options." As that part of the world careens headlong towards a shooting war, obama's national security team convenes an urgent meeting to weigh America's response. But barack hussein obama, President of the United States, doesn't bother to attend.

A White House official emailed some reporters to say that President Obama's team met today to discuss the ongoing situation on Ukraine. It appears President Obama did not attend.

According to Time magazine's Zeke Miller, Obama skipped the meeting. "Obama did not attend the meeting, but WH official says he has been briefed by Susan Rice and his national security team," says Miller.

I guess there was a conflict between the National Security meeting and barry's tee time...
