Me And My 1911A1 Alter Ego

With all the current fuss about 'gun safety' I thought this quiz was timely. It asks the ever-popular question "What type of handgun are you?"

I am pleased and proud to report that I'm the time-tested and classic .45 ACP 1911A1.

What type of handgun are you?
Your Result: Colt Model 1911A1
Designed by John Browning and adopted by the US military in 1911, the 1911 has spawned countless variants and is one of the most popular handguns of all time. Many experts consider the 1911 the epitome of fighting handgun design. It is most commonly chambered for the famous .45 ACP cartridge.

Give it a try and let me know how it works out for you.

Apparently, I'm just a measly .38 Special revolver. My Springfield .45 and my Taurus .44 protest otherwise:-)

Bear and I must think alike, I scored a .38 as well. Pssssh, I would prefer to be a Class III weapon, thank you very much - something silent but lethal.

Bear - we can't all be 1911s... :-)

Harper - I can picture you as lethal, but never as silent...

Don't want to go to the site. Worried about big sis and her munchers watching.

Oh what the hell, Jeff, you're already on their radar...
