At the risk of upsetting some of the folks who occasionally drop by this little corner of the Internet, IMO there is not a more obnoxious football-related song than Boomer Sooner. It's even worse than Hail to the Redskins.
On the other hand, The Eyes of Texas is music to my ears...

What can I say? I've spent my formative years and large chunks of my adult life in and around Austin. I graduated from UT. I was raised to be a Longhorn and Cowboys fan (although my enthusiasm for the 'Boys is dwindling in inverse proportion to Jerry Jones' tenure as owner).
I also lived for a year just outside of D.C., which explains my antipathy towards the 'skins. Plus they also have a jerk for an owner. Further complicating things is my total disdain for anything associated with the home of the federal government...
The only thing better than a humble T-sipper is a humble Sooner.
I haven't run into too many of either type...
