Horse Porn

Went to a wedding reception last night. Had a nice time, and got home and in bed early for a change. One of the topics of conversation among several of the ladies there was the book 50 Shades of Grey. It has been variously described as an erotic novel, soccer mom porn, or just plain trash.

Another conversational thread was horses. We live in an area where many people own or have an interest in horses, from standard working horses to thoroughbreds. There's a small breeding and training operation a few miles from here. Team Roping is big in this area, with the George Strait Team Roping Classic being held every year just down the road, and many less formal competitions held at county fairs, rodeos, and weekend jackpot events.

So it wasn't surprising when the two streams of conversation merged and ended up with the combined topic of horse porn...
