Boston Marathon Bombings

Just watched obama's statement re: the Boston Marathon bombing. Two observations:

1. He seemed very wooden, stiff, and insincere.

2. He studiously avoided the use of the words "terror" or "terrorism."

Let's recap. Multiple bombs. Ball bearings used as shrapnel. Saudi national suspect in custody. But it's not terrorism. Must be another "man-made disaster" - or possibly "workplace violence."

What an asshole...

Thoughts and prayers out to all involved and affected.

Another attack that will be politicized to bend the truth. It's making me ill watching the media...all of them.
Hopefully it's not domestic. Sad we should need to worry about that.

The Liberals and their media lackeys made a big deal about Dubya's demeanor right after he heard about the twin-tower attack. They said he was disconnected, muddled and not in control. And even on the verge of a mental break-down.

Now they'll say Obama was merely stoic and staid in his concern for the victims of the marathon and was majestic in his rock-solid poise after hearing of this ..........errrrrr Tea Party, Right-Wing, pro-assault weapon revenge carnage.

God Bless America and God Bless those who suffered injury yesterday.

Just as I suspected in my previous comment, it was them evil Tea-party folks.

The Irish have already fallen for the Liberal propaganda. Here follows a clip from the leading Irish paper "The Irish Times" web site:

"The fatal explosions in Boston have hints of a right-wing terrorist attack rather than al-Qaeda-inspired extremism, according to one of the world’s leading experts on counter-terrorism.

Richard Barrett, the former United Nations co-ordinator for the al-Qaeda and Taliban monitoring team, said it was too early to say who was to blame for the marathon blasts.

But Mr Barrett, who has served with MI5, MI6 and the Foreign Office, said the timing of the attack on Patriots’ Day and the relatively small size of the devices suggested the work of a domestic extremist.

His comments came after US supercop Bill Bratton, a former head of Boston police who is now based in London, warned there are “no shortage of potential suspects” behind the explosions.

Mr Barrett, who is now senior director at the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies, said: “At the moment it looks more likely that it was a right-wing terrorist incident, rather than an al-Qaeda attack because of the size of the devices.”

Jeff - agreed

Toejam - I've been watching CNN. Same theme ... "it's too early to tell - it could easily be an act of domestic terrorism..."

"Domestic" in this case is news-speak for "right-wing."
