This Crap Makes Me Sick To My Stomach

It's nauseating? frightening? disgusting? treasonous? I don't know what the right words are -- pick your adjective -- but the fact that this creature spews crap like this is bad enough.

Anthea Butler is an author and Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Here's what she tweeted in response to the murder of four Americans in Libya.
How soon is (the producer of the anti-muslim film) going to be in jail folks. I need him to go now. When Americans die because you are stupid...
Wrong, you ignorant poisoner of young minds. Americans died because those muslims are intolerant uncivilized savages.

Anthea Butler - alleged educator

What's even worse than that bile is the following. The fact that someone is hauled off into some sort of inquisition for doing nothing more than exercising his First Amendment rights raises disturbing questions about where we are as a country, and we're we're headed.
... this is what it looked like for a man who made a film that made the Obama Administration uncomfortable:
Just after midnight Saturday morning, authorities descended on the Cerritos home of the man believed to be the filmmaker behind the anti-Muslim movie that has sparked protests and rioting in the Muslim world.”

By sending — literally — brownshirted enforcers to engage in — literally — a midnight knock at the door of a man for the non-crime of embarrassing the President of the United States and his administration, President Obama violated (his oath of office). You can try to pretty this up ... or make excuses or draw distinctions, but that’s what’s happened. It is a betrayal of his duties as President, and a disgrace.

He won’t resign, of course. First, the President has the appreciation of free speech that one would expect from a Chicago Machine politician, which is to say, none. Second, he’s not getting any pressure. Indeed, the very press that went crazy over Ari Fleischer’s misrepresented remarks seems far less interested in the actions of an administration that I repeat, literally sent brown-shirted enforcers to launch a midnight knock on a filmmaker’s door.

But Obama’s behavior — and that of his enablers in the press — has laid down a marker for those who are paying attention. By these actions he is, I repeat, unfit to hold office. I hope and expect that the voters will agree in November.
"I hope and expect that the voters will agree in November."

Me too...

I cannot find words to express my outrage. Even if the widespread, premeditated, well-organized violence throughout the Middle East was in response to some obscure anti-Muslim video made by an American (which it most certainly is not), the president of the United States, while ordering up a strong show of military force at every foreign embassy and consulate location, should be reminding the world that a fundamental and Constitutionally guaranteed right of Americans is that of free speech.

So powerful a message, Sir.

I'm outraged, but not surprized at the "regime's" reaction to this person's 1st amendment right to express himself. Funny, Ms. Butler isn't being bashed by the government for expressing her "obviously slanted, but unsubstantiated" opinion.

I'm sending this message to ALL my friends on the net and strongly urging them to help oust the current noxious bile, which not only occupies the White House but has infiltrated the very core of American principles.

Harper - agreed, that's what a real American president would do - not this cheap imitation of one -- an empty chair, if you will -- currently wasting oxygen in the Oval Office.

Toejam - I'm with you. The more we get the word out regarding this SCOAMF the better our chances of ousting his worthless carcass this Nov. - him and the confederacy of dunces he's surrounded himself with.
