Memo to all those so-called 'celebrities' and 'entertainers' who think performing the national Anthem is an excuse to wail and caterwaul for several long agonizing minutes: watch this video.*

It reminded me of Tommy Loy, the trumpeter who for 22 years played the National Anthem before Dallas Cowboy football games.

Heck talk about showing your ages, I remember this trumpeter playing the Nathional Anthem:
Giovanni Martino born in Italy and served in the United States Army as a trumpeter under George Armstrong Custer.
He is best known as the only survivor from Custer's company in the Battle of Little Big Horn.
