According to my 1960's Guidebook for Marines and a crusty, always hollering but respected D.I. I happen to have the honor of learning from 50 years ago; a Marine in uniform shall never wield an umbrella. Even if he's on liberty sporting his "blues" and holding it for his lady friend on the way to a social event it is absolutely not permissible. Evah!

But I guess the thug from Chicago gets away with making his own rules. Hell, even the Navy "Doc" is now referred to as a: Corpse-man".; May 18, 2013 at 2:33 AM
