The Benghazi hearings kicked off today. I believe to the core of my being that obama and hillary are directly responsible for the deaths of those four Americans who were killed during a terrorist attack (yes, a terrorist attack - not a spontaneous demonstration against a video that got out of hand). barry and hillary are morally unfit to hold office in this country. Outside of winning the lottery, nothing would make me happier than to see them get their just deserts. But it ain't gonna happen, for three reasons.
1. The mainstream media has a vested interest in keeping both of them in power. The media dupes will smear anyone who dares challenge the party line of what happened. They will spin, obfuscate, and flat-out cover up facts that are damaging to their little darlings. And if by any chance things reach the point where the 'i' word (impeachment) is mentioned, stand by for a barrage of "racist" mud-slinging.
2. There is a pronounced lack of outrage amongst the general public. Oh sure, many if not most of the folks you and I know are sickened and disgusted by the whole sordid mess. But a large percentage of the population doesn't care what happened to a bunch of strangers a long time ago in a land far, far away, as long as their welfare checks arrive on time and American Idol isn't pre-empted by congressional hearings.
3. There is no organized group pressing to find the truth. The republicans find themselves on the defensive on many fronts (gun control, immigration reform, gay marriage, to name just a few). Republican leaders (if such creatures exist) are busy trying to figure out how they lost the 2012 presidential election, and how to bring together moderates, conservatives, and libertarian-leaning factions for future elections. They have little time and political capital to spare on impeaching obama, no matter how much he deserves it.
So I'm just going to crack open a beer, sit back, and enjoy the show, because that's all it is - kabuki theater that will follow a strictly controlled script to a predetermined outcome.
I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not holding my breath...

Sadly, I have to agree, but I'm hoping they actually DO get the answers for the families, if nothing else...
Agreed - the families (and the rest of the American public) deserve to know the truth.
