Return of FID

I haven't had a FID post in a while, so I thought I'd catch up on the latest from the Religion of Peace.

When I saw this story my head just about exploded. (H/T Moonbattery)
Public school students in Cambridge have the day off today in what officials believe is the first time a Massachusetts school district has scheduled a holiday to recognize an Islamic holy day.

The school holiday will recognize Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice. The day off to mark an Islamic holy day was approved by the Cambridge School Committee last year.
To be sure, schools often have days off for Christian and Jewish holidays. However, the last time I looked Christians and Jews aren't running around demanding under threats of violence and death that the societies and cultures they move into adapt to them, rather than the other way around.

Europe’s veil of fear (H/T BMEWS)
The office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo was badly damaged by a firebomb on Wednesday, after it published a spoof issue "guest edited" by the Prophet Muhammad to salute the victory of the Islamist party in Tunisia’s elections.
Much more at the link. Take a look. It's some very disturbing stuff.

Finally, BMEWS summed it all up with one short pithy phrase:

Where islam spreads ..... freedom dies
