Brawling parents interrupted a Southern California kindergarten graduation ceremony.
School officials placed Puesta del Sol Elementary in desert Victorville on lockdown Wednesday morning after a fight broke out among a group of parents. From a follow-up report:
San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Karen Hunt said witnesses told deputies several mothers were involved in a verbal argument and it got physical in a field near the ceremony. Several men then jumped into the fray and the incident turned into a brawl.
Hunt said arriving deputies didn't see any physical contact.
A deputy following up on leads later arrested two people – Marina Vargas and Queiona Burt – on suspicion of being a disruptive presence at a school. Witnesses said they were the main instigators.1. I am reminded of the old Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song "Teach Your Children Well."
There were no reported injuries, and no children were hurt.
Police didn't say whether more arrests are planned.
2. Here's some info about the sociodemographic composition of the school in question. Just sayin'...

There must be video of this somewhere!
Judging by the "ethnic makeup of the school I predict:
If there is a video don't bother turning up the sound, cause half the arguement will be in Spanish and the other half will consist of many repetitions of Mother-F****r!
Searched for video - no joy.
Did find a few more stories that make Victorville - the town where the kindergarten brawl took place - seem like nowhere I'd want to live.

(6-26-10) "[Michael Jackson's]'s been my idol all my life since I can remember. I feel like I haven't had closure," said Erick Dominguez, who traveled more than 80 miles from his home in Victorville to the Los Angeles suburb to pay his respects. As he spoke, the 37-year-old sales representative, his eyes hidden by sunglasses, began to weep.
