Golly, the Snuffy Smith cartoon.
Haven't see that in almost 50 years. Very funny and timely topics at the time.
How about Moon Mullins, Li'l Abner, the Shmoos, Daisy Mae, Dick tracy.
They were always a great read my sister and I grew up with.
And don't forget Pogo, the first political cartoon that ran daily...
Li'l Abner and Pogo are two of my all-time favorites, along with Calvin and Hobbs. Maybe I'll post of few of them in the future.
