Can You Beat This?

Just a quickie today.

The English language may be viewed as a tool. In skilled hands it is capable of engaging our interest and imagination. Case in point:
“As it happened, Houdini’s unexpected visit had interrupted Mother and Father’s coitus.”
When manipulated by those less skilled, the results can be far different.
"I think I loved you then — the thought of you still triggers a sinking in my chest, as if my heart is riding a tiny roller coaster built for hamsters and garden gnomes."
Your assignment for the weekend, dear readers, is to contribute either the best or the worst sentences you've come across.

Or you can do like my students - blow off the assignment and pop another beer...
