Welcome To The Family

My nephew's wedding is this evening. Over the last couple of nights we've had the opportunity to socialize with various members of the bride's family. She's a charming girl - half French, half Greek, which caused my 93 year-old father to tell the prospective groom that she'll be great both in the bedroom and the kitchen.

Fortunately, she has a sense of humor.

She also has some interesting relatives. For example, there's the cousin who creates 'art' (portraits, landscapes, etc.) out of assorted beer bottle caps. The results are interesting, to say the least. They're also highly prized by various members of her family, which says something about them, although I'm not sure what.

At last night's BBQ she had a container placed right next to the ice chest so people could save the caps as they opened their beer. She was greatly pleased by the contributions our family made to her art.

This could be a marriage made in heaven...
