I Have A .45 ACP Solution

IMO Liam Neeson is a typical Hollywood hypocritical liberal. He is an anti-gun nut, while at the same time making his fortune portraying an action hero who uses firearms to deal with bad guys.
Actor Liam Neeson is no fan of the Second Amendment despite the content of many of his films.

In the past decade or so, Neeson has arguably rebooted his career by starring in movies, such as the Taken franchise, that prominently feature lots of gunplay and hand-to-hand combat. Despite his action hero screen persona (and meal ticket), he believes that the right of individuals to keep and bear arms under the U.S. Constitution is a “problem” and gun control is the solution.
His hypocrisy disgusts me, and I am boycotting his movies (not that it will make much difference, but at least it makes me feel better).

Anyway, the first movie in the Taken series, in which his daughter is kidnapped by a sex slavery ring, hits home with me. Our daughter is applying for a college study abroad program next summer in Spain. She's a smart kid who can for the most part take care of herself (she has a black belt in karate), but having grown up in a small town in Central Texas she has zero street smarts. To make matter worse, Spain - and Europe in general - is in the midst of a muslim-inspired rape epidemic.
Muslim men rape non-Muslim women (and girls) in disproportionately high numbers in countries with growing Muslim minority populations. Rape of infidel women is part of Islamic law and Islamic tradition. As such, it’s been going on for centuries.

This article is about the current threat Muslim rapists pose to non-Muslim women. In order to keep this article to a reasonable length, the focus is on the rape epidemic in Europe, but suffice it to say rape jihad is a gruesome reality the world over.

Perhaps there is no European country where rape has reached epidemic proportions as it has in Sweden, a country now known as the “rape capital” of Europe. Sweden ranks Number 2 on the global list of rape countries. From 1975 to present, rape in Sweden has increased 1472%. Based on this model, it is now projected that one in four Swedish women (and sometimes little girls) will be raped. Rape of men and boys is also on the rise.

Making this nightmarish situation worse, the authorities hide what’s going on, make outlandish excuses for it, and/or side with the rapists ... Few, if any, will state the truth: that the majority of rapes in Sweden are committed by Muslim males.

But Sweden is not the only European country where rape has become commonplace. Importing Muslims en masse has taken a toll across the continent. With the recent avalanche of young Muslim males sweeping across Europe, violence is rising even further. Including rape.

In the United Kingdom rape is occurring on such a massive scale that women no longer feel safe taking a taxi cab. Meanwhile, Muslim child sex trafficking gangs have become so pervasive it is estimated there may be as many as one million victims. One million! It has been referred to as rape on an “industrial scale.” And how has this massive attack against non-Muslim girls in the United Kingdom been addressed by the authorities? They’ve covered up the truth, often blaming the victims. Political leaders, the police, the courts, the media. You name it. They’re overflowing with cowards, leaving children to suffer the unthinkable horrors of kidnapping, torture, and rape.

In Holland, sex trafficking gangs run by Muslim men are also on the rise. In Germany, rape committed by “asylum seekers” is skyrocketing as rape by Muslim men is explained away as “cultural misunderstandings.” So to avoid such “misunderstandings” girls are told to cover up lest they draw attention to themselves and be raped.

In Austria, women are feeling the impact of this current avalanche of Muslim invaders, as when a 72-year-old woman was recently raped by a 17-year-old “asylum seeker.” In France, gang rape is on the rise. As with the rest of Europe, if the rapists are brought to trial they barely serve time for their heinous crime. In Spain, the situation is so dire that women don’t leave their house after dark for fear of being raped by Muslim men.

In Denmark, more than half of convicted rapists are Muslims. In Norway, there has been a dramatic spike in rapes. In Oslo, 10% of females over the age of 15 have been raped by Muslim men with Muslim men guilty of 100% of the rapes against Norwegian women. Rape in Oslo is now so common that hotels hand out key chain alarms when people check in and increasingly Norwegian women only go out in groups. As is the case throughout the West, anyone who speaks the truth about this is labeled a “racist.”

Meanwhile, in the face of this savagery, our political leaders, the media, academics, Muslims, feminists, and/or garden variety lemmings assert that Islam respects women, that it does not sanction the mistreatment of women, and/or that Western culture is a rape culture on par with ISIS. But no matter how persistently or how deeply these fools keep their increasingly vulnerable heads in the sand, it will not change reality. Quite the opposite. By denying the truth, these liars, apologists, and moral relativists fuel violence, rape, torture, enslavement, and death.
I hesitate to brand an entire group for the actions of a subset. But in this particular case I plead guilty to thinking 'muslim male = highly potential rapist.' And I also plead guilty to tarring most if not all muslims with the same brush. I don't see a wave of 'moderate' muslims decrying their cultural affinity towards rape, honor killings, female genital mutilation, murder of homosexuals, etc.

So I'll let our daughter traipse off to Spain, albeit with a shitload of fatherly warnings ("Beware the evil muslims"), most of which will go in one ear and out the other.

I only hope one or more of them will take root...

Sunday Funnies 2015.11.29

Tis the season ... to eat Thanksgiving leftovers...

Knock, knock!

Who's there?

Arthur.

Arthur who?

Arthur any leftovers?

Knock Knock!

Who’s there?

Tamara.

Tamara who?

Tamara we’ll have turkey leftovers!

I've run out of Thanksgiving leftovers.

I had to quit cold turkey.

“Oh no! not leftovers again!” complained my daughter when we served turkey and dressing left over from Thanksgiving.

“Young lady,” I replied firmly, “do you know how many people would love to have a delicious supper like this?! You should be ashamed of yourself! Now before we start eating I want to hear you say grace thanking the Lord for this delicious meal!”

“Thank you Lord for this delicious supper”, muttered my daughter, “….again!”

It seems that God was just about done creating the universe. The Lord had a couple of leftovers in his bag of creations, so he stopped by to visit Adam and Eve in the Garden.

He told the couple that one of the things he had to give away was the ability to urinate while standing up. "It can be very handy," God explained to Adam and Eve. "Would either of you like that ability?"

Adam popped a cork. He jumped up and begged, "Oh, give that to me! It seems the sort of thing a man should be able to do. Please, Lord, let me have that ability. I would be forever grateful."

Eve just smiled and shook her head at Adam's display. She told God that if Adam really wanted it so badly, then she really wouldn't mind if he were the one given the ability to urinate while standing up.

And so, the Lord gave Adam the ability to urinate while standing up. Then, He looked back into his bag of leftover gifts. "Now, what have we here? Oh, yes, multiple orgasms..."

Thanksgiving Day In Pictures

As we slowly come out of our tryptophan-induced comas, let's take a quick look back at the intermingling of Thanksgiving and politics.

This is a real ad produced by the democrat party to help their brain-dead supporters attempt to refute criticism of barry and hillary. Good luck with that. (click to embiggen, if you don't mind getting nauseous)

Hard to believe that this is Thanksgiving in America. And the left wants to admit more of the people savages that make this necessary? Madness...

As a kid I loved Mad Magazine. It's nice to see they haven't lost their touch.

What look at Thanksgiving would be complete without including the King of Turkeys?

Friday Follies Happy Hour 2015.11.27

Language barrier...

Thanksgiving Recap

They came.

They ate.

They left.

In between we had a great time catching up with family and friends.

Despite a few glitches, all went well. For some unexplained reason, the oven started smoking. We have a double oven (electric). The turkey was in the larger upper oven, while the bottom one was reserved for the side dishes. Once the upper oven started smoking we turned it off and finished the bird in the outdoor grill. Temperature control was challenging and the timing was thrown off, but in the end no one went away hungry (or thirsty!).

I spent half a day earlier this week chopping and splitting firewood. The temperature then was hovering around 50. Today, when I was planning on having a nice cozy fire in the house, the temperature - and the humidity - was near 80.

No worries, however. The forecast for Saturday is a high in the low 40s.

best wishes to you and yours for a truly wonderful Thanksgiving.

May your stuffing be tasty,
May your turkey be plump.

Have nary a lump.

And your pies take the prize.
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

I hope each and every one of you have a great Thanksgiving ... and please remember to give thanks for those who are away from their loved ones during the holiday season.

Wordless Wednesday - Thanksgiving Edition

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. I hope everyone out there has a great one! Unfortunately,Thanksgiving has gone to the dogs.

One reason is that Thanksgiving, like so many other great American traditions, has become tainted by politics.

Republicans

Democrats

But through it all, keep in mind that we really do have many things to be truly thankful for.

Wordless Week

I'll be somewhat busy this week, what with Thanksgiving and all. The kids will be home from college, the clan is gathering at our place, we're having some work done on the house ... well, you get the picture.

To lighten the load a little the next few posts will primarily be pictures, with minimum verbiage.

Enjoy!

Today's pictorial commentary concerns the plight of the Syrian refugees, fleeing from wretched living conditions and an uncertain future. If only there was someplace that spoke their language, shared their culture, and would welcome them with open arms...

Many liberals are castigating Western nations for not being more willing to welcome Syrian refugees. Left unanswered is the following question.

The refugees' plight is inextricably tied to a recent surge in terrorist activity.

There is something else inextricably tied to the recent surge in terrorist activity. Any ideas what it might be?

If we are truly engaged in a religious war, I know which God I want on our side.

FOD 2015.11.23

obama has been castigating everyone who opposes allowing Syrian refugees into our country without adequate vetting. Setting aside the national security concerns and political implications, let's instead view the issue through the lens of 'do as I say, not as I do.'
Once again, Barack Obama is attempting to heap condemnation on Americans for being concerned that ISIS, as promised, will infiltrate the U.S. and do it by exploiting a humanitarian crisis...

Obama maintains that he’s concerned about foreigners in need.  If that’s true, instead of worrying about 60 million refugees, maybe he could lead the way by putting doable action behind his own sanctimoniousness lecturing.

And what better place to start exercising those “My Brother’s Keeper” values he keeps talking about than with his own half-brother, George Obama, who despite his famous sibling’s desire to save the world from destitution, barely survives on but a few dollars a month.

...while Obama berates Americans for not doing enough for Middle Eastern refugees, in Kenya his drug and alcohol-addled brother George continues to live below the poverty line in an illegal tin hut in Nairobi’s filthy Huruma slum.

...George Obama spends his days gathering up foul smelling waste and delivering it to a centrally located Kenyan dumping ground.  For that, Barry’s baby brother earns 100 Kenyan shillings pay per ‘shovel ready’ bag, which in U.S. dollars comes to a rousing $.97 per sack.
When barry visited Kenya, his ancestral homeland, last summer, he made no attempt to reach out to his brother. If obama won't toss a few bucks his brother's way, he could at least encourage George to become one of the refugees obama wants to admit to America, and then lavish with welfare goodies.

After all, charity begins at home...

Thanksgiving is coming...

A young woman (blonde, of course) is preparing her first thanksgiving dinner. As she gets everything ready for Thanksgiving day, she very sternly reminds herself to let the turkey finish thawing in the sink overnight. She puts it in and places the dish rack over the top of the bird. Her husband walks into the kitchen and sees this.

"Why are you doing that?" he asks.

"My mom always did that to help the turkey thaw," she told him.

The next day Mom calls to see how everything is going.

"Fine, Ma. I have everything ready to go in the oven. I even remembered to put the rack over the turkey last night."

This seemed to confuse her mother a bit. "What are you talking about?" she asked.

"Oh, I remember you always put the dish rack over the turkey when it was thawing in the sink," she said.

There was a pause on the end of the line. "Yes, but honey, we had cats!"

This year I decided to have a throw-back Thanksgiving and shoot my own turkey for the holiday.

You should have seen people scatter in the meat department.

A turkey farmer was always experimenting with breeding to perfect a better turkey. In particular, he was trying to satisfy his family. They were fond of the drumsticks, but there were never enough for everyone.

After many frustrating attempts, the farmer was discussing the results of his efforts to his friends at the general store. "Well I finally did it! I bred a turkey that has 6 legs!"

They all asked the farmer how it tasted.

"I don't know" said the farmer. "I never could catch the darn thing!"

Q: What is the difference between Election day and Thanksgiving day?

A: On Thanksgiving, you get a turkey for the day. On Election day, you get a turkey for four years.

But seriously, folks, as we get into the holiday season let's pause for a moment and think about the true meaning of Thanksgiving...
